Sponsored posts
The publisher's editors write a new article on a topic agreed with you, in the title's own style. You approve it before it goes live.
It suits brands that want the content to read like the rest of the site, and agencies that don't want to brief a writer for every placement.
Guest posts
You or your writer supply a new, original article. The publisher checks it for quality and fit, may edit it, and publishes it.
It suits agencies with their own writers. Supplied articles still need to be relevant to the title's readers, or the publisher will ask for changes.
Link inserts
A link insert (sometimes called a niche edit) adds your link, usually with a sentence of context, to an article the publisher has already published.
It only works when the existing article is genuinely relevant to the page you're linking to. Publishers decide case by case which articles can take one.
Questions to ask before you buy
- Who writes the article, and do I approve it before it goes live?
- Is the content new, or is my link going into an existing article?
- How will the post be labelled on this title?
- What link attributes does this title use?
- Which topics does the title exclude?
- When will I be invoiced, and when is payment due?
How we handle it
